This research to determinate how much influence the price of garlic, gross domestic product (GDP) and trade policy on the import of garlic on imported Chinese garlic in Indonesia. This research uses an independent variables consisting of the price of garlic, gross domestic product (GDP) and trade policy on the import of garlic, with the dependent variable is Chinese garlic imports.
The data used in the research is annual data from 2001-2018. The analytical method used is descriptive and analized partially or simultaneously with ordinary least square (OLS) multiple regression and processed using E-Views version 10.
The results show that the price of garlic, gross domestic product (GDP) and tradepolicies on import of garlic have a significant effect on Chinese garlic import in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the price of garlic has a negative and significant effect on Chinese garlic import in Indonesia. While gross domestic product (GDP) has a positive and significant effect on Chinese garlic import in Indonesia. Trade policy on the import of garlic has no effect on Chinese garlic import in Indonesia. In addition, obtained an adjusted R2 of 93,41%.
