Pengaruh Inflasi, Cadangan Devisa Dan Penanaman Modal Asing (Pma) Terhadap Nilai Tukar Rupiah Atas Dollar Amerika Serikat (Periode 2004-2018)
The exchange rate is the price of one unit of currency in units of another
currency. The exchange rate of a country's currency functions for various
economic activities to support domestic and foreign trade transactions. This study
aims to analyze the Influence of Inflation, Foreign Exchange Reserves and
Foreign Direct Investment ( FDI ) on the Rupiah exchange rate for United States
Dollars. The type of data used in this study is secondary data and is a time series
that is obtained from Bank Indonesia as the Central Bank of the Government and
the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics. This research was conducted
nationally. The data analysis method used in this study is descriptive quantitative,
namely testing using multiple linear regression analysis with the E-VIEWS 10
computer program.
The results of the testing of multiple linear regression analysis have
shown that simultaneous Inflation, Foreign Exchange Reserves and Foreign
Direct Investment ( FDI ) on the Rupiah exchange rate over the United States
Dollar, have a significant effect. In partial test, inflation has a negative and not
significant effect, foreign exchange reserves have a negative and significant effect,
and Foreign Direct Investment ( FDI ) has a positive and significant effect on the
exchange rate of Rupiah over the United States Dollar.
