Analisis Nilai Ekonomi Objek Wisata Pantai Koneng Kecamatan Medang Kampai Kota Dumai Dengan Pendekatan Metode Biaya Perjalanan

This research was conducted in Medang Kampai District, Dumai City. This study aims to determine the economic value of Koneng Beach Tourism Object in Medang Kampai District, Dumai City with a Travel Cost Method Approach. This study uses secondary and primary data. Samples of tourist objects in this study amounted to 100 people. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method using the Travel Cost Method.
The results of the study are based on the number of respondents as many as 100 people, the total amount of the respondents' travel costs is Rp. 17,572,000, then obtained an economic value calculated through consumer surplus received by each visitor of the visit amounting to Rp173,672.57. Then obtained a total surplus of consumer visits with the number of visits in 2017 amounting to Rp.4,242,647,212.00. This value can be interpreted as the value sacrificed if the environmental quality of the Koneng Beach Tourism Object in Medang Kampai sub-district, Dumai City is damaged, then the loss borne is equal to that value.
