This research was carried out in Tampan Pekanbaru sub-district (a case study of wood TJ.Mutiara), this study aimed to analyze the problem of the wood tapping industry (a case study of wood TJ.Mutiara) in the supply of raw materials. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive method. The theory used in this study is supply chain theory. Where this research only describes the process of raw materials from woodcutters to wood agents and to wood processing and also related to the supply of raw materials in the handsome kecamatan of Pekanbaru. the results of this study that the problem that is often faced in the supply of raw materials is bad weather, due to bad weather, the condition of roads or access roads to bring wood raw materials is also hampered as a result of delayed arrival of goods, raw material supply flow to the timber harvesting industry in Pekanbaru handsome sub-district is the first plot of woodcutter in the forest, the price of the difference in wood from loggers to wood collectors is around Rp.500,000-Rp.2,500,000 / m3, and the difference in the price of wood from collectors to wood furniture industries ranges from Rp.300,000 - Rp. 700,000 / m3. The scarcity of some types of wood produces expensive timber prices, since collectors sold a portion of their wood out of town, which is why the price of expensive wood to the wood-tapping industry in the hands of the Pekanbaru sub-district.
