Gambaran Keberhasilan Program Pengendalian Tuberkulosis Paru Pada Puskesmas Yang Telah Menerapkan Strategi Public Private Mix Di Kota Pekanbaru
Tuberculosis (TB) is one of 10 diseases that cause death in the world and
Indonesia is one of 5 countries with the highest TB cases. Public Private Mix
(PPM) is a TB control strategy by involving all health care providers. The
purpose of this study is to see the overview of the success of pulmonary
tuberculosis control program in public health center that has applyed PPM in
Pekanbaru by using 5 TB control indicators. This study was a descriptive
quantitative with linear regression analysis to see the trend and achievement of
each indicator. The samples were 6 public health centers that had applyed PPM
in Pekanbaru. The result showed case notification rate tend to increase, treatment
success rate tend to increase but not reached the national target yet, proportion of
new patient with bacteriologically confirmed pulmonary TB among TB suspects
tend to increase but exceed the national target range, proportion of patient with
bacteriologically confirmed pulmonary TB among all pulmonary TB patiens
recorded or treated almost not showing tendency and not reached the national
target yet, and proportion of pediatric TB patient among all TB patient tend to
increase and reached the national target in 2014 and 2017. This study concluded
that most indicators had not reach the national target yet.
