Gambaran Penggunaan Antihipertensi Dan Tekanan Darah Pasien Hipertensi Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau

Hypertension is remained to be a significant health problem, due to increasing prevalence of hypertension over the years. Hypertension can be treated with antihypertension agent. The usage of hypertension should be evaluate constantly, as the selection of antihypertension agents will highly effect on blood pressure control . The aim of this study was to describe the usage of antihypertension at Arifin Achmad General Hospital Riau Province. The type of this study was descriptive study, with cross sectional method. Data was obtained by collecting medical records data of patients with hypertension at Arifin Achmad General Hospital Riau Province period September 2017. Samples in this study were 70 patients, 54% patients were using monotherapy, and amlodipine from class of calcium channel blocker (CCB) group was the most common used monotherapy (66%). Among 46% patients using the combination therapy, 66% patients were using combination from 2 gropus of agent. The most common combination antihypertension agent is CCB + ACEI. Description of blood pressure on this study was equal between controlled and uncontrolled blood pressure.
