Gambaran Penatalaksanaan Torsio Testis Di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode 2011-2017
Testicular torsion is an abnormalities in the testes due to torsion of the spermatic cord resulting in occlusion and strangulation vascularisation of the veins and arteries to the testes and epididymis. The purpose of testicular torsion management is based on age, clinical symptom, physical examination, supporting examination, duration and treatment. The type of this research was descriptive research. The research location was located in Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau province with the total sample as much 6 samples. The result of this study showed that testicular torsion mostly happened on the age range of 10-20 years or about 50%. The most frequent clinical symptom was scrotal pain as much as 83,3%. The most frequently used physical examination was cremaster reflex absent as much as 100%. The most frequently used supporting examination was conventional scrotal ultrasonography as much as 66,6%. The duration of testicular torsion as much as > 12 hour or about 83,3%. The most frequently used treatment was orchidectomy as much as 83,3%.
