Pemberian Jamur Aspergillus Sp. Ii Rta Dan Penicillium Sp. Pne4 Isolat Lokal Riau Pada Pengomposan Substrat Terhadap Pertumbuhan Jamur Tiram (Pleurotus Ostreatus Jacq. Ex Fr. Kummer)
Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) has good nutritional value for health and economical. Sawdust is substrate for cultivation P. ostreatus which contains many complex compounds such as cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. This compounds are more difficult to be degraded. Inoculating bioactivators on composting substrates can accelerate the composting process and provide initial nutrients that are more easily absorbed by P. ostreatus. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of inoculating local Riau isolates Penicillium sp. PNE4 and Aspergillus sp. II RTA on the composting of P. ostreatus substrate to increase their productivity. Sawdust substrate was inoculated with a fungus of local Riau isolates single and mixed culture, and substrate was composted for 5 days. P. ostreatus was incubated for 60 days. The results showed that giving singularly P2 (Aspergillus sp. II RTA) and P3 (Penicillium sp. PNE4) treatments were generally able to increase mycelium growth, initial fruit body (primordium), increase the number of pileus, fresh weight, and dry weight of oyster mushrooms compared to P1 (control).
