Kemampuan Imobilisasi Bakteri Fiksasi N Non Simbion Lokal Riau Menggunakan Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit Untuk Mendegradasi Minyak Bumi (Crude Oil)
Petroleum pollution can disrupt the environmental ecosystem. Biodegradation is an alternative that can be used to overcome petroleum pollution. This study aims to determine the ability of fixation bacteria N-non symbion (NR15, NR18 and NR30) to degrade petroleum by immobilizing using oil palm empty fruit bunches with gravimetric method. The results of this study obtained growth potential and percent degradation for the three bacterial isolates with non-immobilization treatment higher than immobilization. Bacterial NR18 obtained a percentage of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH) of 60.73% for non-immobilization treatment and 38.45% for immobilization treatment in minimal medium + 1% crude oil with 15 days incubation. These three bacteria can be developed as biodegradation agents of petroleum hydrocarbons
