Pengaruh Strategi Perusahaan Dan Modal Intelektual Terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan Melalui Keunggulan Bersaing (Studi Empiris Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Yang Terdaftar Pada Bursa Efek Indonesia 2015-2017)
Strategy is an important tool in achieving organizational goals. Strategy will create superior performance and produce competitive advantages for organization. In addition, intellectual capital could also play an important role in creating competitive advantage and improving financial performance.
This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of corporate strategy and intellectual capital on financial performance. Furthermore, this study also aims to examine and analyze the effect of corporate strategy and intellectual capital on competitive advantage, and the effect of competitive advantage on financial performance. Finally, this study aims to examine and analyze the mediating role of competitive advantage on the relationship between corporate strategy and financial performance and the mediating role of competitive advantage on the relationship between intellectual capital and financial performance. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015-2017 period. The sample is determined using purposive sampling. There are 55 manufacturing companies that meet the sampling criteria. The final data processed is 163 data (2 data are dropped due to outliers) and the data is processed using regression analysis and path analysis.
The results showed that corporate strategy and intellectual capital have a positive effect on financial performance. The company's strategy and intellectual capital also have an effect on competitive advantage and competitive advantage has an effect on financial performance. The results of this study prove that competitive advantage act as a mediating variable that relate corporate strategy and financial performance and relate intellectual capital and financial performance.
