Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Advance Organizer Untuk Meningkatkan Penguasaan Konsep Fisika Pada Materi Momentum Dan Impuls Siswa Kelas X Sman 1 Rumbio Jaya
ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine the differences in mastery of the concepts of physics students who learn with advanced organizer models and conventional learning. The research method used was quasy experiment with pretest posttest control group design. The population is all students of class X MIPA SMAN 1 Rumbio Jaya. A sample of two classes selected by random sampling, obtained class X MIPA 1, amounting to 23 people as an experimental class and class X MIPA 2, amounting to 24 people as a control class. The research instrument used the concept mastery test questions. Data collection techniques using concept mastery tests before and after the learning process carried out in both classes. Data were analyzed descriptively by looking at the absorption and effectiveness of learning and the results of students' mastery of concept scores and analyzed inferentially using the T-test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the mastery of students' concept mastery in the learning class and the advance organizer learning model with the conventional classroom material on momentum and impulse. The average score of mastery of physics concepts students who learn with advanced organizer models is higher than conventional learning.
