Hubungan Regulasi Diri Dengan Kemandirian Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di TK Negeri Pembina 3 Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru

This research aims to know the relationship of self regulation with the independence of children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru. The samples in this study children aged 5-6 years old in TK Negeri Pembina 3 which amounted to 80 children. The method used is the correlation of Person Product Moment to see the relationship between the variables of self regulation with child independence. The data collection techniques used are observation sheets. Data analysis techniques using statistical analysis methods. From the research results known level of child Self regulation is in a very low category with a percentage value of 52,75% and the independence of the child is in the low category with a percentage value of 70,53%. Based on the hypothesis test results obtained there is a positive and significant relationship between self regulation with the independence of children USIA 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 3 subdistrict Marpoyan Damai City Peanbaru. This can be noted from the value of the correlation coefficient of rxy = 0.338 and the value of the coefficient of determination resulting in KD = r2 x 100% = 11,4%, meaning that the self-regulation affects the independence of the child by 11,4%.
