Analisis Efisiensi Penggunaan Faktor Faktor Produksi Industri Pengetaman Kayu Di Kota Pekanbaru

ABSTRACT


Reaping the wood industry in the city of pekanbaruis one of the small and medium industries (IKM) which has the potential to spur the growth of the industrial sector in the city of pekanbaru. One of the things that drives the level of industrial production in the city of Pekanbaru is increasing housing and office development in the city of pekanbaru. Increasing of input in the certain number is not always increasing the production. This study was conducted in reaping the wood industries in Pekanbaru City. This study aim know the level of efficiency of usage of factors of production in reaping the wood industries in Pekanbaru City.
The purpose of this study is to analysis the level of technical efficiency, price efficiency (allocative), and economic efficiency in Reaping the wood industry in the city of pekanbaru and find out the condition of Reaping the wood industry’s return to scale in Pekanbaru City. The result of this study is that the Reaping the wood industry entrepreneurs in pekanbaru city who were registered at the Pekanbaru City Disperindag were as many as 20 using the entire population as the study sample. Data analysis was performed using Cobb-Douglas production, and efficiency testing, both technical efficiency, pr ice efficiency and economic efficiency with the help of SPSS 24.0 software and vertical Frontier 4.1c software. From the analysis results can be concluded the technical efficiency of small and medium industries in Pekanbaru City is 0.99680070, allocative efficiency is 25,95293, and economic efficiency is 25,86989, while the return to scale is 0,254, it Reaping the wood industries is in decreasing return to scale. By the level of economic efficiency approaching one (1) can concluded that Reaping the wood industries in Pekanbaru City are not reach economic efficiency. With that results, to reach the efficiency industrialist needs to increasing usage of input in proporsional amount.
