Meningkatkan Kemampuan Memahami Bacaan Dengan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Teams Game Turnament (TGT) Pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN 010 Langgini
This research is motivated by the low ability of grade IV SDN 010 Langgini students to understand reading, out of 18 students there are 4 (22%) students the ability to understand reading well, 1 (6%) students with sufficient ability, 4 (22 %) people are still lacking and 9 (50%) people have very poor understanding of reading skills. This study is a CAR that aims to improve the reading comprehension of grade IV SDN 010 Langgini students through cooperative learning models of teams game tournament. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019 school year for 2 weeks on January 14-28, 2019. The research subjects were Grade IV students of SDN 010 Langgni, as many as 18 students, consisting of 6 men and 12 women. The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting during the learning process using cooperative learning models of teams game tournament. The results of the initial test of students 'ability to understand reading, the average base score obtained before the action was given 45.3 after the action was given. The average test of students' reading comprehension ability reached 82.2, an increase of 81.4% from the basic score in the excellent category 15 people (83%), either 0%, enough 1 person (5%), less 0%, and very less 2 people (11%). based on the results of these improvements prove that the cooperative learning model team game tournament can improve the ability of fourth grade students SDN 010 Langgini in understanding reading
