Analisis Strategi Keunggulan Bersaing Pdam Tirta Kampar
ABSTRACT
Tirta Kampar Regional Water Company is a regional company engaged in the supply of drinking water for the Kampar region. Along with technological developments and competition in the use of clean water is the reason for the importance of PDAM Tirta Kampar in implementing the right strategy in order to provide excellent service to customers and be able to survive with various competitions.
The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze how PDAM Tirta Kampar achieved competitive advantage, and to find out and analyze alternative strategies used by PDAM Tirta Kampar. The method used in this study is a survey method by collecting data from interviews, observations, and literature studies. Analysis is done by identifying external and internal factors. To formulate a competitive advantage strategy, researchers used a SWOT analysis.
From the results of the study, PDAM Tirta Kampar is in Quadrant I, which is growing (aggressive) and used 3 strategies, namely market penetration strategy, market development, and product development. With 5 alternative strategies, namely to develop business optimally through the addition of production capacity and new customer connections to increase company revenue, increase capital from third-party investment in order to increase the use of technology in the production process, expand distribution networks and improve the quality of human resources, increase the quality of drinking water services by innovating products, and maintaining good relationships with customers, increasing service coverage by maximizing existing networks, and making efficient production and operational costs from internal funds.Keywords : Strategy , Competitive Advantage, SWOT Analysis.
