ABSTRACT
One type of investment that is Considered quite safe and profitable is bonds. However, this investment will have a risk from the company in the form of debt default risk will roomates is Also Affect investors. therefore, investors need to know the potential risks they face by analyzing the feasibility of the company that will Become an investment place based on bond ratings. Other than that, investors Also need to see Whether the company implements good corporate gvernance (GCG) or not Because implementing good corporate governance (GCG) in the company Reflects that the company is Able to manage the company's financial perfomance efficiently Including managing assets and returns , This study aims to examine how the influence of financial performance and good corporate governance on bond ratings.The Population in this study is involves 555 companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2013-2017 period. The sampling technique was purposive sampling method applied with a total sample of 57 companies. The analytical method used in this study is the logistic regression models and the result of the research show that the financial perfomance has a significant negative effect on bond rating. While good corporate governance has a significant positive ratings on bond.
