ABSTRACT


The research was conducted in july 2018 at the fish landing base (PPI) of Tiku, Agam Regency, and West Sumatra Province. The purpose of this research is to determine the extent to which the implementation of operational management at the Tiku fish landing base (PPI) is especially about the factors and the application of management functions in its processing. The method used in this research is the survey method by conducting direct observation and data accumulation. The results of research showed that still lock of operational manajement includes elements and functions of the port. Which still has not been implemented management functions and management element are influeneed by some things basic. This candition is caused the tatally of managers PPI only 4 person and some of thefacilities in the PPI is not utilized any more such as cold storage and TPI.
