The issues raised in analyzing the political dynamics of the 2014 legislative election in Rokan Koto Ruang Village and relations of the actors involved in the legislative elections of 2014 in Rokan Koto Ruan Village. In riview of friction,conflict and competition that lasts for the election of legislative candidates.
This research instruments. The results show that in the 2014 legislative elections, politics in the village Rokan Koto Ruang not determined by ninik mamak and tradisional liders in Rokan Koto Ruang Village, as it is called political relatives.
The cause of people’s disbelief towards Ninik Mamak is a problem of capitalization, the behavior of Ninik Mamak to the community in the sale of ulayat land and the Ninik Mamak function is not in accordance with its context. So the politics in the Rokan Koto Ruang Village is not fixed by Ninik Mamak and traditionals leaders Rokan Koto Ruang.
