Analisis Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Permintaan Sepeda Motor Baru Matic Merek Honda Beat Di Kota Pekanbaru
This research was conducted in Pekanbaru City which is the center of government, commerce, education and others in Riau Province. High mobility makes transportation systems very important, both transportation of goods and people. And the higher level of existing transportation, resulting in increased demand for new Honda Beat brand automatic motorcycles. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the effect of the price of the goods themselves, the prices of other goods, consumer income, and the number of family members.
In this study the population taken was the people who used vehicles in Pekanbaru City and used a sample of 100 respondents. This research uses purposive sampling technique. The analytical method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method with SPSS software version 2.5).
By using multiple linear regression to test the hypothesis. The results showed that the value of R squared was 0.776, which means that 77.6% of Honda Beat's new automatic motorbike demand was influenced by variable prices of the goods themselves, prices of other goods, consumer income and the number of family members while 22.4% was influenced by another variable. Simultaneous regression (mutually) of the independent variables has an influence on the dependent variable. Partially, the price of other goods and the number of residents has a positive and significant influence on the demand for the new Honda Beat automatic scooter in the city of Pekanbaru. While the variable price of the item itself and the number of family members has a negative influence on the demand for the new Honda Beat automatic motorcycle in the city of Pekanbaru.
