Profil Penyakit Infeksi Jaringan Periodontal Di Rumah Sakit Universitas Riau Periode 1 Januari 2015-31 Desember 2017
Periodontal infection is a collection of inflammatory conditions that support dental tissue caused by bacterial infections. Periodontal tissue infections can be classified into two, namely gingivitis and periodontitis. This study aimed to determine the profile of periodontal disease at the University of Riau Hospital Period 1st January 2015 - 31st December 2017. The results showed the highest incidence of gingivitis in 2016 was 74 patients (42.2%), the dominant of patient characteristic age was found at >12 years – 21 years 88 patients (50,3%), the women were 96 patients (54,9%), the level of education was found at senior high school were 139 patients (79,4%), the most occupation was found at college student 128 patients (73,1%). The results showed the highest incidence of periodontitis in 2017 was 3 patients, the dominant of patient characteristic age was found at >21 years 3 patients, the highest number of women were 3 patients, the highest level of education was found at senior high 4 patients, the most occupation was found at college student 4 patients and systemic conditions as a comorbid factors for periodontitis disease were patients with Diabetes Mellitus type 2 was 1 patients and cardiovascular disease was 1 patients.
