Hubungan Keasaman Kulit Dengan Gambaran Flora Normal Bakteri Di Regio Aksila
The skin is a place that is occupied by normal flora of bacteria. One of the regions in the skin that has the highest percentage of normal flora of bacteria is the axilla. Normal flora of bacteria growth in the axilla is affected by acidity, moisture, and surface temperature of the skin. Skin acidity is an important factor that can affect the number and type of normal flora. If the acidity of the skin changes, it will cause changes in normal flora. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of skin acidity with normal flora of bacteria in the axilla region. The design of this research is analytic with the number of samples were 31 people taken by consecutive sampling method. The results of this study indicate that the average skin acidity in the axillary region is 5.25 with the skin acidity in men is 5,46 and women is 5,10. Normal flora that live in the axillary region are CNS (44%), Staphylococcus aureus (7%), Micrococcus (29%), E. coli (5%), Klebsiella (5%), and Serratia (10%). Based on statistical tests, there is no relationship between skin acidity with CNS (p value= 0.97), Staphylococcus aureus (p value= 0.06), Gram negative bacilli (p value= 0.41), and Micrococcus (p value= 0.25) in the axilla region. But there is a relationship between skin acidity and the amount of normal flora of bacteria in the axilla region (p value= 0.032).
