Daya Saing Ekspor Produk Kelapa Indonesia Di Pasar Internasional
This study aimed to analyze the export development of Indonesia coconut products and to analyze the competitiveness of indonesia coconut products in international market. This study used secondary export data of coconut products in Indonesia, Philippines, India and the World of during in period 2000-2016. The data was taken from the value and volume of coconut product exports to the international market. The analytical methods was used Trade Specialization Index, Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and Constant Market Share analysis (CMSA). The results of this study indicated that the export development of Indonesia coconut products tends to increase every year. The value of Indonesia trade specialization index was positive and close to 1 with an average value of 0.98 to 1.00. The results showed the comparative advantages of Indonesia coconut products, India, Papua New Guinea and the World had positive values. The first rank for the largest RCA value is Indonesia, ranked second is India, ranked third is Papua Nuegini and newly followed by other countries. This data indicated that Indonesia has an RCA coconut product export better every year because it has a positive value. While CMS analysis notes that the competitiveness of coconut products in Indonesia is to exports more influenced by market distribution and competitiveness. This was an increase in Indonesian coconut product exports which is more influenced by the growth of world coconut product exports in the marketing of coconut products to importing countries that have high demand.
