Pin on disc is a type of tribometer that is used to determine the quantity of tribology, in the form of friction, lubrication and volume of wear. The working principle of pin on disc is the relative motion between the material in the form of a pin at rest and a rotating disc with a certain speed so that it causes friction. The making of this test instrument aims to make an efficient and cost-effective test equipment in manufacturing. used for pratikum as a means of measuring the wear volume of a material.
The main components of the Pin on Disc Tribometer are: Electric Motors, Regulators, Test arms, Discs. The results of manufacture are in accordance with the design of the drawings. In addition, the test results of this test equipment are in accordance with the procedures that have been planned before the manufacture and testing of this tool.
