Analisis Efisiensi Penggunaan Faktor-Faktor Produksi Industri Roti Di Kota Pekanbaru
The bread industry in the city of Pekanbaru is one of the small and medium industries (IKM) which has the potential to spur the growth of the industrial sector in the city of Pekanbaru. One of the things that drives the level of production of the bread industry in the city of Pekanbaru is the increasing population in the city of Pekanbaru each year. Constraints that cause a decline in industrial production are higher production costs, such as increases in raw material costs, labor costs, and other costs, so that the costs incurred in producing are higher and inefficient. In this case, the problem is how to reduce the production cost of bread industry to a minimum so that the use of input or factor production can also be efficient, so that the production produced can also be optimal.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of technical efficiency, price efficiency (allocative), and economic efficiency in the bread industry in the city of Pekanbaru and find out the condition of the bakery industry's Return to scale in Pekanbaru City. The result of this study is that the bakery industry entrepreneurs in Pekanbaru City who were registered at the Pekanbaru City Disperindag were as many as 25 using the entire population as the study sample. Data analysis was performed using Cobb-Doughlas production function, and efficiency testing, both technical efficiency, price efficiency and economic efficiency with the help of SPSS 2.0 software and Vertical Frontier 4.1c software.
Based on the results of the study, it is known that the variables of capital, labor, and raw materials have a positive and significant effect on the amount of production. The most influential variable on the amount of bread production in the city of Pekanbaru is raw material. The value of technical efficiency in this study is 0,5747 so it can be said that the bread industry in the city of Pekanbaru has not been technically efficient so that the use of inputs must be reduced. Likewise, the calculation of price efficiency (allocative) is 1,5861 and economic efficiency is 0,9115. This shows that the bread industry in the city of Pekanbaru has not been efficient, price (allocative), and economically. In this study it is known that Return to Scale (RTS) is 2,549. This shows that the bakery industry in Pekanbaru City is in this condition worthy of being developed or continued.
