Sinergi Pengembangan Wisata Jalur Lintas Barat Kabupaten Kampar – Sumatera Barat Dengan Kota Pekanbaru

Tour Package synergizes tourism development by encountered the demand and supply of tourism activity which also increases tourist visit in a certain location. This research aims to determine the potential of tourism objects and know the alternative tour packages that can be developed in the Jalur Lintas Barat of Kampar-West Sumatera Regency, as well as to know the willingness to pay of the population of Pekanbaru Travel on the cross-western route of Kampar Regency – West Sumatera.
This research uses the analysis of potential object assessment and tourism attraction (ODTW) as the guideline by Dirjen PHKA to analyze potential tourism objects. The willingness to pay (WTP) analysis with the stated preference method with the contingent valuation approach is used to determine the willingness to pay of the population of Pekanbaru. The research population for WTP is residen tof Kota Pekanbaru aged 15–64 years, which then selected as many as 400 samples through stratified random sampling proportionally based on the age group. This research uses primary data by spreading questionnaires and interviews with informant.
The results of this research are: (1) The most potential tourism object to develop are Nadiin Agrowisata, Go Green Agrowisata, Masjid Jami’ Kampar, Taman Rekreasi Stanum, Desa Wisata Pulau Belimbing, Puncak Ulu Kasok, Puncak Tuah, Tepian Mahigai, Air Terjun Pulosimo dan Candi Muara Takus, (2) There are 6 alternatives tour packages namely Kampar Wonderful Nature 1, Kampar Wonderful Nature 2, Kampar Wonderful Nature 3, Kampar Cultural Heritage, Kampar Nature and Cultural Tour 1 and also Kampar Nature and Cultural Tour 2, (3) The average WTP of the resident of Pekanbaru for the Kampar Wonderful Nature 1 is Rp 191,000, for the Wonderful Nature 2 Kampar is Rp 191,000, for Wonderful Nature Kampar 3 is Rp 192,000, for Kampar Cultural Heritage is Rp 193,000, as well as for Kampar Nature and Cultural Tour 1 and Kampar Nature and Cultural Tour 2 are as same as Rp 194,000.
