This study aims to determine the extent of bread business competition conditions in the city of Pekanbaru. The data used are primary data and squad data. The results of the study using the analysis of the Five Porter Strength model shows that the competition variable in the bread business in Pekanbaru City is quite high in the level of competition that is the amount of competition that arises. From the supplier variable, this company has several supply suppliers from raw materials and labor. In terms of bread business buyers have a number of consumers with a variety of bread prices. In terms of new entrants, it is usually influenced by several industries that enter the bread industry, such as capital and access to obtaining raw materials. From the substitution variable of the bread business there are several substitute products that can be in some bread businesses.
