Pemasaran Buah Manggis (Kajian Struktur, Perilaku Dan Penampilan Pasar) Di Desa Pulau Rambai Kecamatan Kampa Kabupaten Kampar
This study aimed to analyze the market structure, market conduct, and performance of the mangosteen market in Pulau Rambai Village, Kampa District, Kampar Regency. The method used in this study was a survey method. Farmer samples were taken using simple random sampling method, traders samples were taken by census. Data analysis was performed descriptively and quantitatively. The results of the study concluded that there were two mangosteen marketing channels in Pulau Rambai Village. The structure of the mangosteen market was the oligopsony market because it was seen from the smaller number of buyers and there were obstacles in entering the market. Then seen from the value of market share, concentration ratio and Herfindahl index market structure at the level of collecting traders was monopsony because there was one trader while the market structure at the level of large traders is oligopsony. Market conduct shown the end consumer (exporter) as the party that determines the price. The results of the correlation analysis and price transmission elasticity shown that the competition market was imperfect and leads to the oligopsony market. The performance of the mangosteen market shown the most efficient channel seen from the calculation of marketing costs, marketing margins, marketing profits, marketing efficiency and farmer's share were in the two marketing channels.
