This study aims to determine the optimal price of admission to the Rawa Mekar Jaya Mangrove ecotourism, to find out the factors that affect the number of visits and economic value with the travel cost method approach using consumer suplus.
Sampling is done by accidental sampling, which is sampling based on mere chance, with a total sample of 76 samples. The analytical method used is quantitative descriptive analysis tool used in this study is multiple linear regression with the influence of the variable cost of travel (X1), income (X2), distance (X3) and age (X4) on the number of visits (Y) and calculate the economic value with the travel cost method and then make a regression equation between the number of visits (Y) with travel costs (X1) to determine the price of admission.
The results showed that the variable cost of travel and income had a negative and significant effect on the number of visits. Mileage has a positive and not significant effect on the number of visits. While age has a negative and no significant effect on the number of visits. The optimal price of admission that can maximize revenue in accordance with the addition of tourist facilities and attractions is Rp.275,000,000.00. Whereas the calculation of economic value can be seen from the calculation of the consumer surplus obtained optimal economic value of Rp94,500.00.00 obtained from the ticket price of Rp275,000.00, a maximum economic value of Rp414,545,000.00 obtained from the ticket price of Rp0 and a minimum economic value of Rp690,000 00 is obtained from the ticket price of Rp.440,000.00.
