Analisis Dampak Ekonomi Dan Potensi Ekspor Palm Kernel Expeller (Pke) Di Kota Dumai

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to analyze the economic impact and export potential of Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE) in Dumai City. In this study, the writer takes a location in Dumai City which has a palm oil company that manufactures Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE) and serves as an export commodity. The data used are primary data and secondary data from the Dumai City Agriculturan Quarantine Agency, Dumai City BPSN the UMKM Office, the Dumai City Cooperative and Industry, and Dumai City Regional Revenue Agancy. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews / interviews, and literature study. The data analysis technique used in this study uses the method of using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that PKE exports had a positive impact on the City of Dumai including encouraging the regional economy and increasing business activity and PKE export potential through the trend has decreased in the coming years.
