Strategi Pengembangan Industri Pariwisata Istana Siak Di Kabupaten Siak Sri Indrapura
This research to find out how the development of tourism industry, namely the Siak Sri Indrapura Palace in order to attract the interest of visitors. This research uses primary and secondary data with a purposive sampling method with SWOT analysis. The population in this research were all tourists visiting Siak Palace, as many 100 repondents. The results of this research are quadrant I (Aggressive) which means the industry is in a state of strength and opportunity. Internal analysis shows strength and weakness factors and external analysis shows opportunity and theart factors. Based on analysis of internal and external factors, the formulation of Siak Palace development strategy includes: a) S-O Strategy: optimizing the potential of the Siak Palace because it has a strategis location that can be explored by all people; b) W-O Strategy: increase promotion and infrastructure that is still lacking by utilizing of the income earned; c) S-T Strategy: always maintain hospitality with tourists; d) W-T Strategy: always hold events to attract tourists to visit Siak Palace.
