This study aims to determine the effect of education level and family income on the number of children in Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi District and to find out the most dominant factor influencing the number of children in Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi District. This study uses multiple linear regression data analysis using SPSS 22 for windows. Regression analysis is a statistical technique that is useful for examining and modeling relationships between variables. The results showed a strong influence seen from R2 of 0.681 and showed that the level of education had a positive influence on fertility because the higher the level of education of the mother, the more mature the mindset of a person in making the decision to have children and determine the number of children. Likewise with family income, also has a positive effect on fertility, the lower the family income, the more will affect the number of children owned by EFA. The level of education has a dominant effect on fertility in Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The higher the level of EFA education, the lower the level of child birth (fertility), so that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.
