Peningkatan Kualitas Air Bawah Tanah Tps Sukajadi Menggunakan Teknik Koagulasi Dan Filtrasi Saringan Pasir Lambat
ABSTRACT
The quality of Sukajadi TPS underground water has been improved. Using coagulation techniques and slow sand filter filtration. The problem that is very much related to ground water is the reduced quality of water for domestic use caused by leachate. Leachate is defined as any contaminated liquid that is generated from water pollution through a solid waste disposal site. The results showed that before coagulation and filtration the values of parameters pH, TDS, COD, BOD, color and ecoli bacteria are 5,03| 95,57 mg/l| 4,5 NTU| 18,5 mg/l| 4,75 mg/l| 278 ml respetively. After coagulation and filtration the values of parameters such as pH, TDS, color, COD, BOD and ecoli bacteria are 6,95| 281,87 mg/l| 3,5 NTU| 18,5 mg/l| 5,5 mg/l| and 26,25 ml respetively. The results also showed that the average value of water debit increase when faucet as more opened. The average increage of perameters such as pH, TDS, COD, BOD are 1,95| 196,5 mg/l| 2,75 mg/l| and 0,75 mg/l respetively. The average value color & fecal coliform are dereased 1NTU & 251,75 ml respetively. The effective open faucet was fully opened.
