This research is based on the problems in hand ball game ability in children aged 5-6 years in Paud Nur Intan Village Bagan Jaya Enok District Indragiri Hilir Regency. The ability to recognize the concept of handball games in children aged 5-6 years is a classroom action research with 10 subjects consisting of 6 men and 4 women. This research is an out-of-class action research conducted with a cycle model. There are several stages or steps in each cycle, namely: preparation, execution, observation and reflection. The technique of learning execution know the concept of handball game implemented well and regularly. Thus, the goal can be met maximally through a handball game. Based on the improvement of the ability to recognize the concept of handball game based on the analysis of research data with value Based on the results of observation of average motor abilities of children aged 5-6 years on prasiklus is 12.4% with the category began to grow. In cycle I through the game of hand ball game the abusive motor skills of the child increase and obtain an average of 13.2% with gross motor skills including the category began to develop. In cycle II the gross motor abilities of children increase the significance level and obtain an average of 15.5% with the category of children develop very well. In cycle III the gross motor abilities of children increase can be known the average value 17.6% with the category of children has developed.
