Abstract
This study aims to determine the problem of the development of the furniture
industry business in the district of Bangkinang, Kampar Regency, if viewed from the
technical and production aspects, marketing aspects, legal aspects and financial
aspect. The population of this study is the entire place of furniture industry businesses
in the district of Bangkinang, Kampar Regency, which is 10 business places. This
study took a sample of as many as the entire population that is 10 samples. This
research was conducted in all districts of Bangkinang city. The types and sources of
data used are primary data and secondary data. By using the business feasibility
study method, by reviewing aspects of the feasibility study, namely reviewing the nonfinancial
and financial aspects. On non-financial aspects throught technical and
production aspects, marketing aspects, legal aspecs as well as reviews on financial
aspects througt financial feasibility review by calculating Net Present Value (NPV),
B/C Ratio and Payback Period. The results of this study indicate that the review of
technical and production aspects, legal aspects and marketing aspects of the
furniture industry in Bangkinang sub-district, Kampar Regency is feasible to be
developed, as well as a review of the financial apects throught feasibility calculations
showing NPV = 167.668.592 > 0, B/C Ratio = 1.06 > 1, and PP value for 1,73 years.
The calculation show that the furniture industry in Bangkinang sub-district, Kampar
district, is feasible to be developed.
