Faktor – Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Produksi Industri Perhiasan Dari Logam Mulia Di Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

One of the small industrial sub-sectors that has the potential to increase its contribution in
advancing the regional economy is the precious metal processing industry. This study aims to
determine how the influence of labor, investment and raw materials on industrial production
of the precious metal jewelry in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The data used in this study are
secondary data with multiple linear regression analysis tools using the SPSS software
version 21.0. The determination of the location of the research was determined based on the
reason that Kuantan Singingi Regency had quite good potential in the precious metal
industry. The results showed that simultaneously (F test) it could be concluded that labor,
investment and raw materials together had a significant effect on the production of the
precious metal jewelry industry in Kuantan Singingi Regency. Partial testing (t test) showed
that labor and raw materials had a positive and significant effect on the production of the
jewelry industry from precious metals in Kuantan Singingi Regency. While investment has no
significant effect on the production of the jewelry industry from precious metals in Kuantan
Singingi Regency. The results of the coefficient of determination ( ) of the independent
variables on the dependent variable obtained a value of 99.4% while the remaining 0.6% is
influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.
