ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the application of Liberika coffee cultivation
techniques and techniques of processing its derivative products, the amount of
income of Liberika coffee farming and its derivative products, the value added of
products from the Liberika coffee agroindustry, and to explain the channel,
marjins, and efficiency of Liberika coffee trading in the District of Rangsang
Pesisir Kepulauan Meranti Regency. The method used is descriptive analysis,
income analysis, value added analysis using the Hayami method, as well as marjin
analysis and trading efficiency. The conclusions of this study include: First, there
are several indicators of Liberika coffee cultivation techniques that are in
accordance with the recommendation book, and several indicators that are not in
accordance with the recommendation book; Second, the large income of Liberika
coffee farming in Rangsang Pesisir District is relatively small while the income
derived from the processing of Liberika coffee derivative products is quite high
and worth the effort; Third, the highest value added is obtained from luwak coffee
products; Fourth, there is only one channel for coffee trading, rice coffee, roasted
coffee, ground coffee, and luwak coffee.
