Carbon electrodes from Areca husk biomass waste for supercapacitor cells have been successfully synthesized and characterized. This study is focused on the effect of increasing the KOH activator concentration with variations 0 M, 0.3 M, 0.5 M, 0.7 M, and 0.9 M on the physical and electrochemical properties of areca husk carbon electrodes. Preparation of activated carbon electrodes begins with the pre-carbonization process at temperature of 250°C for 2.5 hours.
