Inventarisasi Jenis-Jenis Bambu (Bambusoideae) Di Pulau Bas Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau Dan Analisis Hubungan Kekerabatannya

Bas island is a small island in Indragiri Hilir regency Riau province that has biodiversity of bamboo’s. Bamboo is plant that has high adaptability, but there was no information about the species of bamboo in Bas Island. The purpose of this research was to find out the diversity of bamboo by identify based on the and examined the species, it uses as well as construcked identification key, base on morphologial characters. This research used NTSys software to view the relationship of it. The inventory results identified a total of five species from two genera (Bambusa and Thyrsostachys), two varieties (vulgaris and striata). i.e. (Bambusa vulgaris var. vulgaris, Bambusa vulgaris var. striata, Bambusa heterostacya, Bambusa multiplex, Bambusa glaucophylla, and Thyrsostachys siamensis). Base on relationship analysis result using NTSys shows that Bambusa vulgaris var. vulgaris and Bambusa vulgaris var. Striata has a similarity, then Bambusa heterostacya and Thyrsostachys siamensis has a similarity, while the Bambusa multiplex and Bambusa glaucophylla has its own character different from the other.
