Respon Pada Eksplan Batang Buah Naga Putih (Hylocereus Undatus (Haw.) Britt. & Rose) Dengan Penambahan Naphtaleine Acetic Acid Dan Indole-3-Butyric Acid Pada Media Murashige And Skoog
White dragon fruit has high potential in horticulture and economic part. The supply of white dragon fruit seeds is quite limited on a large scale. One way to overcome this problem is with using in vitro techniques. It can produce white dragon fruit seeds in a fast, good quality and uniform plantlets. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding a combination of NAA and IBA at several concentration for induction of root of white dragon fruit (Hylocereus undatus) in vitro and determine the best combination of NAA and IBA on the medium ½ MS and fully MS in the formation of roots from explants of dragon fruit stems white in vitro. This research was conducted in March – May 2019 in the Integrated Biology Laboratory of Biologi Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Riau University. Experimental research uses ½ MS media and full MS with the addition of IBA and NAA by using Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The results showed that the root emergence time, number of roots and root length on ½ MS medium significantly affected. The concentration of 0.3 mg / L IBA + 0.5 mg / L NAA on ½ MS media gives the fastest response time of 7.6 root appearing DAP and the best concentration for the number of roots is 0.3 mg / L IBA + 0.4 mg / L NAA of 3.9 roots. On MS medium with concentration of 0.2 mg / L IBA + 0.5 mg / L NAA gave the best response at the time arises root (7,0 DAP) and the number of roots (2.5 roots).
