Inventarisasi Jenis-Jenis Bambu (Bambusoidae) Di Kecamatan Reteh Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau

Bamboo is one of the plants in Poaceaefamily with number of species reach to 161 species in Indonesia. Reteh District is located in Indragiri Hilir Regency with a high biodiversity, one of which is bamboo. This study aims to inventory and identify the diversity of bamboo found in Reteh District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau. This research is an exploratory descriptive study by looking for both wild and cultivated bamboo in Reteh district, Indragiri Hilir Regency and describing it. Data was collected byexploration, field observations and documentation. The results of research in Reteh District, Indragiri Hilir Regency obtained two genera (Bambusa and Gigantochloa), two varieties (vulgaris and striata)and seven types of bamboo (Bambusa glaucophylla, Bambusa heterostachya, Bambusa multiplex, Bambusa vulgaris, Gigantochloa hasskarliana, Gigantochloa serik and Gigantochloa sp.).
