ABSTRACT
Tepian Muaro Batulangkai is a tourist attraction located in Muara Jalai Village,
Kampar Utara District, Kampar Regency. This tourist attraction has great
potential to be developed because it has beautiful and natural natural beauty. In
addition, the Tepian Muaro Batulangkai object is a place for the people of Muara
Jalai Village to carry out the tradition of welcoming the holy month of Ramadhan
called mandi Balimau. However, the tourism object of Tepian Muaro Batulangkai
at this time has not been managed well because there are still many tourism
facilities that are inadequate and the area arrangement has not been arranged
properly. The design methods used are the results of field surveys, literature
studies, and empirical data. The process of designing Tepian Muaro Batulangkai
tourism object focuses on water recreation, cultural recreation and family
recreation. The design theme used is organic architecture which is an architecture
that connects the environment and nature. The concept used in the arrangement of
the tourism object of the Muaro Batulangkai Edge is the Karet Fruit which is one
of the plants that is commonly found around the site and is the economic source of
the local community. The results of this design that is presenting the edge of the
river attractions that can meet the recreational and cultural activities of the region.
