Analisis Strategi Penanggulangan Kemiskinan Di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu

The purpose of this study is to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities
and threats that cause the high number of poor people in Rokan Hulu Regency. In
addition, it is also to find out and formulate poverty reduction strategies in Rokan Hulu
Regency. This study uses Primary and Secondary data from the two years of the Rokan
Hulu Regency administration period 2012-2021 which is secondary data and is taken
from the RAP Hulu Regency BAPPEDA, in addition this study also uses primary data
obtained from questions given to BAPPEDA staff through questionnaire questions related
to research. The analysis used in this study is the SWOT analysis.
Based on the SWOT analysis, the most important alternative strategy is the SO
(Strenghts-Opportunities) strategy, namely by using the power to take advantage of
opportunities that exist in poverty alleviation. Policies that can be taken by the
government based on SO (Strenghts-Opportunities) strategy, namely fostering and
empowering and monitoring the poor by SKPD assigned to poverty alleviation in
accordance with the vision and mission of the Rokan Hulu Regency government, as well
as developing the leading sector of Rokan Hulu Regency, developing and enhancement
access of religious tourism and natural tourism in Rokan Hulu Regency.
