Analisis Kelayakan Usaha Industri Makanan Keripik Pisang Di Kecamatan Kampar Kabupaten Kampar
This study aims to determine the feasibility of the banana chip food industry in Kampar
sub-district, Kampar Regency in terms of non-financial and financial aspects. This study uses
primary data and secondary data obtained directly from respondents in the banana chips
industry in Kampar District totaling 11 business units. The method used in this research is
descriptive and quantitative methods. The descriptive method used is reviewed through nonfinancial
aspects by describing aspects of business legality, market and marketing aspects,
technical and technological aspects, socio-economic aspects. The quantitative method is a
systematic model to see business feasibility in the financial aspect based on investment criteria
such as Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit Cost Ratio (B / C ratio)
and Payback Period (PP).
The results of this study indicate that the non-financial and financial aspects are
feasible to work on. In the non-financial aspect, the banana chip small industry business has met
the criteria, it's just how to promote products and technology. In the financial aspect, the
investment criteria for NPV> 0, with an NPV value of IDR 864,406,092.3 are feasible to work
on. The calculation result of the Benefit Cost Ratio of 1.18> 1 is feasible to work on. In the
investment criteria, the IRR shows that it is greater than the discount rate determined by the
average commercial bank investment rate of 12%, with an IRR value of 49%, so investing in this
banana chip business is more profitable than saving in a bank with an interest rate. investment
of 12%. And the PP investment criteria show that the banana chip industrial business has an
investment that generates cash flow that can cover the investment costs that have been incurred,
namely PP of 1 year 1 month. By looking at the value of investment invested in return on capital,
the banana chips food industry is feasible to be developed.
