Analisis Struktur Pasar Industri Mebel (Studi Kasus Mebel Kayu Desa Ujung Batu)

This study aims to analyze the market structure of the wooden furniture
industry in Ujung Batu Village. The research used the census method, namely the
entire industrial population, amounting to 6 industries. The analytical method
used the Harfindahl-Hirschman index and the concentration ratio. The results
showed that the market structure of the furniture industry in Ujung Batu Village
was in the form of a tight and concentrated oligopoly.
Barriers to market entry based on the MES value are quite difficult for new
companies to enter the market.
