Hidrolisis Kertas Koran Bekas Menjadi Glukosa Dengan Variasi Suhu Dan Waktu Hidrolisis

Biomass is an interesting source of energy to be developed because it is abundant
and can be supported. One source of biomass is used newspaper waste paper.
Used newspaper can be used as a backup because of its high cellulose reserves.
The purpose of this study is to hydrolyze used paper using sulfuric acid catalyst,
to determine the composition of temperature and time of hydrolysis on the
involvement and determine the results in the hydrolysis process. The variables
used were hydrolysis temperatures 90oC, 100oC and 110oC with hydrolysis time
90, 120 and 150 minutes. The temperature and time of hydrolysis are directly
proportional to the higher concentration. In this study, the highest results and
results obtained at Temperature 110oC with 150 minutes hydrolysis time were
59,0500 mg/l and yield 0,1181%.
