This study aims to determine the effect of Education and Domestic
Investment on Labor Absorption in the city of Pekanbaru. the type of data used is
secondary data, the data collection method in this study using the documentation
method. The data used is time series data for the period 2007-2018. The
analytical method used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study are
education and investment in the country simultaneously affect the absorption of
labor. Partially, education has a positive and significant effect on employment
and domestic investment also has a positive and significant effect.
