Analisis Pendapatan, Pola Konsumsi, Dan Kesejahteraan Rumah Tangga Petani Kelapa Sawit Pola Swadaya Di Kabupaten Kampar
This study aims to analyze the structure of income, consumption patterns,
factors influencinng consumption patterns and the welfare level of self-subsistent
palm oil farmers household in Kampar Regency. The analysis used to answer the
objectives constitutes the analysis of the structure of farmer households, analysis
of food and non-food consumption patterns. Sampling of oil palm farmers is
carried out intentionally (purposive sampling), which is self-subsistent palm oil
farmers whose oil palm plants have produced those categorized as adults (13-20
years) and old (>20 years). In this study, there were 90 respondents of selfsubsistent
palm oil farmers. Data analysis uses multinomial logistic regression
methods and poverty lines. According to the results of the study shows that the
largest income structure is the income from the source of self-subsistent palm oil
farming. The consumption household pattern of self-subsistent palm oil farmers
shows that a great number of households have less food expenditure than nonfood
expenditure. This indicates that the self-subsistent palm oil farmers
household in Kampar Regency is classified as prosperous. The dominant factors
influencing the consumption pattern of self-subsistent palm oil farmers household
significantly are education investment, length of education, number of household
members and worker's status. Factor that does not significantly affect food
consumption pattern is income. Accordig to the comparison of per capita
expenditure with the poverty line in Kampar Regency there are still 15.56 percent
of farmers who are not prosperous.
