Analisis Persaingan Jasa Transportasi Darat Antar Jemput Dalam Provinsi (Ajdp) Trayek Pekanbaru – Bagan Siapi-Api

This study aims to determine the competition of the AJDP land transportation
service in Pekanbaru – Bagan Siapi-api. The data used are primary data and secondary
data. Primary data is data sourced from questionaire results and secondary data used is
data obtained from the Riau Provincial Office of Relation in 2016-2020. The test
instrument used in this study is Market Structure Analysis to find out which companies
are through the five porter powers. Market structure results show that this 88,57% CR4
falls into the category of tight oligopoly or dominant company. And the value of the
Hefindahl-Hirscman Index (IHH) show that 2.131,06 is in the category of monopolistic
competition market or oligopoly market. The results of the porter analysis show that the
conditions of competition in land transportation service companies route Pekanbaru –
Bagan Siapi-api are quite tight, because of the large number of companies and
companies that are not legal or illegal travel.
