Kontribusi Getah Rotan Jernang Terhadap Peningkatan Pendapatan Masyarakat Di Desa Rantau Langsat Kecamatan Batang Gansal Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu

This study aims to determine the value of the contribution of clear rattan
in the village of Rantau Langsat Batang Gansal District Indragiri Hulu Regency.
Because in that area the clear sap of rattan is widely used as production material
thereby increasing the per capital income of the area. The community knows how
important is clear rattan sap for community life by comparing people's income
from collecting clear rattan with farm income, and measuring the degree of
relationship between household characteristics and the reasons for collecting
clear rattan. The factors that influence the collection of natural clear rattan by the
community are known through correlation analysis. Correlation analysis is used
to determine the degree of relationship between the observed variables. One
method uses Pearson correlation analysis. Based on the results of the study
showed the amount of contribution from clear rattan farming to community
income in the village of Rantau Langsat, Batang Gansal District, Indragiri Hulu
Regency was 35,916%. This shows that the clear rattan farming business is a
source of income that provides a large enough contribution, so it really needs to
be developed again in Rantau Langsat Village, Batang Gansal District, Indragiri
Hulu Regency.
