Pemberian Larutan Daun Kersen (Muntingiacalabura) Untuk Mencegah Penyakit Motile Aeromonas Septicemiapada Ikan Jambal Siam (Pangasius Hypophthalmus)

Muntingia calabura is one of the natural plant that was popular in indonesia. This
of the main ingredients of Muntingia calabura is flavonoids, tannins, glycosides,
saponins, esesnsial oil, and that has antibacterial and antiinflammatory. This
research was conducted in December 2019 - February 2020 at the Fish Parasites
and Diseases Laboratory, Fisheries and Marine Faculty, Riau University. The
purpose of this study was to analyze and to obtail the best dose of Muntingia
calabura leave to prevent the Motile Aeromonas Septicemia disease. The method
used was an experiment with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one
factor and five treatments. The doses used were negative control (Kn) without
Muntingia calabura immersion and not infected with Aeromonas hydrophila,
positive control (Kp) without Muntingia calabura immersion and infected with
Aeromonas. hydrophila, the immersion of Muntingia calabura with 2.800 ppm
doses (P1), 3.200 ppm doses (P2), 3.600 ppm doses (P3). The were Immersed was
done 5 times for 5 minutes with an interval of once every 7 days. The results shown
that the immersion with 3.600 ppm (P3) of Muntingia calabura was the best dose.
Total leukocyte of 10.66 x 104 cells/mm3, lymphocytes 84.67%, monocytes 5.67%,
neutrophils 9.67%, phagocytosis activity 36.67%, and survival rate 86.67%.
